Smarter Safety; inside and out

Our control access system can manage both interior and exterior monitoring software and hardware.

The base system includes:

Process Management by industry leaders
Monitoring Control Station (Control Computer) - 1 per 12 spaces
Monitoring station server - 1 per site
Badge Station (Badge data computer) - 1 per site

Access Control

Logs qualified workers’ entry and exit with reporting capability for safety and efficiency analysis. All data is stored for the duration of the project.
Attempted entry breaches notified in real time.
Badge readers can be configured with site technology to eliminate duplication of RFID and worker database.

CCTV

Full HD PTZ external camera verifies entrants prior to entry and internal cameras monitor personnel while in the space. Scalable to up to five internal cameras for larger spaces or high hazard zones.
Low light camera uses specialised IR emitting diodes radiating a narrow wavelength light energy that allows “safe sight” in low-light environments.
All video is stored and timestamped.

Atmospheric Detectors

Gas detection equipment is manufactured and supported by industry leaders.
Atmospheric conditions are continuously monitoring in real time by control room which is far superior to current practices of roaming and manual testing of individual spaces.
The gas detection monitors can detect up to 27 different gas configurations.

Intercoms

IP intercom system is placed internally and externally for direct two way communication with the control room.
This provides increased support over the conventional confined space sentry, who is not allowed to enter the vessel and usually cannot see or hear the contractor working inside.
All communication is recorded for the duration of the project.

Light, Temperature + Humidity monitors

Temperature and humidity monitoring of the confined space provides a complete picture of the atmospheric conditions within the space.
A wireless LUX reader with 0–83,000 LUX (luminescence/unit area) is installed to measure and monitor light, with an optional detection reading of light/no light.
Alarm will trigger when LUX value differs from the configured minimum threshold value of the sensor, and this information is fed back to the control room.

Strobes + Sirens

Audio and visual alarms are placed inside the confined space and are used in case of emergency evacuation. Alarms are activated from the control room to notify personnel inside the space.
A second alarm can be place outside the space to act as a beacon in an emergency.
